This is an excellent opportunity to join the successful team at The Engineering College. You will be a time served Mechanical Engineer/Fitter with Machining experience (turning, drilling and milling) and hold a Level 2 or above in Engineering. Maths and English. Teaching, Learning and Assessment: delivery of practical and theory sessions to meet the requirements of the business, the planning of lessons and learning plans effectively, making use of resources and curriculum.

Work within the relevant team to contribute timely information to the individual’s ‘training officer’ to support with performance reviews

Learner Support: ‘first line’ academic and pastoral support, working with the team in identifying any high or additional needs students, etc

Technical & Administration: identifying opportunities for CPD, improving competency, fulfilling ESFA requirements regarding tracking attendance, support with recruitment and promotion of the brand.

Additional team responsibilities are shared within the organisation, including high quality health and safety provision, support and promotion of Equality and Diversity within this industry.
