Version 1’s market- leading Enterprise Applications Practice specialises in Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Payroll Solutions with over 650 Oracle Specialists across the UK, Ireland, US, Australia, India and Slovenia.
We deliver consulting and managed services to transform and optimise ways of working for more than 230 customers through the provision of specialist knowledge right across the Oracle product stack – Oracle Fusion Cloud for ERP, HCM and EPM, eBusiness Suite, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft and Hyperion, not to mention extensive expertise in Analytics, Infrastructure, and Integration.
We have grown both organically and through acquisition, with our most recent acquisition of EPM and Analytics experts Qubix bringing 170 specialists to our team.
Our Oracle Fusion Cloud team has grown significantly over the past 3 years powered by recent business wins including Galliford Try, Bank of England, An Post, Inizio Health, Birmingham City Council, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and QBE Insurance.

This role will be within our Managed Services team at Version 1. It is somewhat of a Hybrid role requiring the capability to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and JDEdwards CNC. Although the primary role will be within the managed service there will be opportunities to work on projects for both JDE and Oracle Cloud.
The candidate will be expected to be able to manage tickets within the managed service for various issues with key skills being the ability to resolve networking issues within Oracle cloud and manage JDE environments.
OCI Skills:
- Ability to support Oracle cloud environments
- Working with IPSec VPNs, Debugging network routing and network security group issues within OCI and user management and IAM policies with OCI.
JD Edwards CNC : Able to maintain and support JDE environments with experience of:
Applying patches & bug fixes (ESUs).
Package build and deployment.
Regular system checks, performance monitoring & maintenance activities.
JDE upgrades and release updates.
Linux: Administrative skills such as creating user accounts and mounting block volumes, a candidate with basic Linux command line skills will still be considered with training being provided.
OIC: Experience working with Oracle Integration cloud,particularly provisioning and working with connectivity agents is nice to have.
