About the role:

As  Life Skills Teacher  at Fernways School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.

About you :

For this role, we are looking for someone ideally who holds  QTS (Not essential), and ideally you will have experience of working with children with  SEND  and  ASC . With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective primary/secondary teaching, which engages and motivates young people, you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. About us:

Fernways School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in  Windlesham , Surrey, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16. We support children and young people with an  autism  spectrum condition. Our focus is on maximising every child’s potential to develop into a confident, resilient, and skilled young person who will make a positive contribution to society and live as independent a life as possible.
