Job Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract - Full Time.
Working Hours: 40 Hrs per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 Hrs to 17:30 Hrs.

You will be a HR professional with good knowledge and experience of Employee Relations, including Discipline, Grievance and other formal HR processes such as Flexible Working, Sickness Absence, Capability and Performance Management.
You will support the HR Manager and HR team to develop and deliver HR excellence, ensuring that the HR function gives the business a professional, proactive and forward-thinking service.
You will embrace and promote the development of the Company culture, focusing on employee engagement to ensure that employees connect with and commit to the business strategy, feel valued and are inspired to perform to the best of their ability.
To ensure that all Employee Relations, Flexible Working, Sickness Absence, Capability and Performance Management cases are dealt with professionally; and in accordance with relevant legislation, current policies, procedures and best practice.
- Provide clear, accurate and consistent advice and guidance relating to relevant company policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
- Partner with QuESH, IT and other areas to oversee adherence to wider Company policies regarding; among others, use of IT equipment and resources including e-mail and Internet access, protection of confidential information, adherence to H&S Policies and relevant legislation.
- Provide advice, counsel and information to people managers (including Senior Managers and Directors, Managers and Supervisors) to assist them in resolving a wide range of people management issues/problems.
- Utilize a case management approach in the resolution and risk mitigation of complex Employee Relations situations and disputes (including Tribunal cases) that enable the business to make informed decisions.
- Provide consistent interpretation and delivery of HR programs/practices and policy guidance across the Company - support implementation and provide coaching to management on all new/changed policy and practices.
- Provide, as required and appropriate, situational data through case tracking of all Employee Relations incidents/situations ensuring all HR trackers, including ER, LTS, flexible working, performance management etc are updated and accurate.
- Attend all meetings as HR representative, as requested making notes and making recommendations/providing advice and guidance where applicable.
- Work with the HR Admin function to ensure correspondence issued relating to ER matters; Coach People Managers & Supervisors on company policies and procedures relating to Discipline, Grievance, Flexible Working, Absence Management, Capability and Performance Management.
- Support the HR-Admin function during periods of limited or reduced ER caseload and for periods of leave ensuring that the HR-Admin inbox, DBS, On-Boarding, New Joiner and correspondence is managed.
Ideally possess a Degree in Human Resources or similar level relevant level of education.
- Proven experience as a HR Advisor, including ER, preferably in a multi-site fast-paced service-industry such as Facilities Management, Retail, Hospitality etc.
- Good understanding of UK employment legislation and a sound working knowledge of HR practices and understanding and of the current labour market.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce written reports and communications.
- Excellent skills in building relationships and developing partnerships across multiple stakeholders.
- Have the flexibility to travel to sites, if required.
- You will need to present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
