Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a strong background in the machine tool industry? Would you like to work in a very well-established manufacturing company who are market leaders? Responsibilities of the Service Engineer are as follows:
Servicing and maintaining our ranges of Machine Tool products.
Attending faults, diagnosing problems, and rectifying machines. Liaising with Technical support, Service Management and Customer Services.
Undertaking planned maintenance of machines.
Identifying parts required and order via Service/Spares department
Explaining machine faults, findings and repairs undertaken to customers.
Providing great customer service and achieving high customer satisfaction/ feedback
Experience required for the Service Engineer:
Mechanical engineering apprentice trained. Manufacturing engineering / Machine Tool background
Minimum of 5 years’ Service Engineer, Machine Tool experience
Basic electrical knowledge
Able to work on own initiative, with minimal supervision, and provide our customers with the highest levels of service possible
Flexible attitude to hours of work
Team player, including working alongside junior engineering technicians at times and on certain jobs as part of their training.
Full, valid driving licence
