Looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced Orthopaedic referral practice? Look no further Here in sunny Fife we have a rare position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us on a permanent basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with a flare for patient care, high clinical standards and a fun, challenging working environment with an interest in Orthopaedics, surgery and diagnostic imaging.
The role will include inpatient care, client care, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, nurse consults, scrubbing in for surgeries, general cleaning, cleaning and maintaining surgical kit, prepping patients for surgery and stocking up etc.
Rota patterns that work for you

The rota includes working 40 hours over 4 days per week with a rolling weekend rota of 1:10. The shifts are either 7:30am to 18:30pm, 8:00am to 19:00pm or 9:30am to 20:30pm. There are no out-of-hours.
About East Neuk Veterinary Clinic
The practice is located in the picturesque village of St Monans in the East Neuk of Fife. We are surrounded by beaches, coastal walks and quirky local, cafes, shops and businesses. Although a quiet setting we are only an hour away from Edinburgh and a 45-minute drive to Dundee, so the hustle and bustle of city living is not far away.
The practice is well equipped with 4 consulting rooms, 3 operating theatres, an excellent x-ray machine and a CT machine which is mainly run by the nursing team, as well as dental x-ray and ultrasound facilities. We offer both First Opinion and Orthopaedic Referral and the nurses rotate between both domains.

The team are a hard-working bunch, we currently have 11 day nurses and 3 night nurses who work together to ensure patient care is priority around the clock We have two Orthopaedic vets, one of which is a European Diplomat, the other a certificate holder, as well as two additional surgeons undertaking their residencies. We have a reception and admin team who work together to keep the practice running smoothly and ensure our client care is kept to a high standard. The team work well together and are always up for a laugh and joke to keep them going through the day
