Junior Accountant Permanent Salary – £24K Melton Mowbray LE13 Hours – Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week Junior Accountant/ Accountant / Accountancy / Melton Mowbray / LE13 Main duties and responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:

  • Preparing management accounts
  • Reviewing and submitting VAT returns on Xero software
  • Prepare payroll on BrightPay and file reports to the pension regulator
  • Digital filing and scan documents to virtual bookkeepers
  • Preparing accounts and tax returns using Iris software
  • Additional duties as may reasonably be required
Experience/knowledge requirements for the Junior Accountant:
  • Must be studying towards or completed AAT/ACCA
  • GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (must)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good working knowledge of Xero software, BrightPay and Iris
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate good attention to detail
