Job Description
CDW require a suitably experienced 2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer to be based upon their client site near Chester.
This role is based on-site Monday to Friday.
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday / 8:30am - 4:30pm on Friday
IT Desktop Support Engineer - 2nd Line Support
Contract Length: 3 Months - 6 Months
Day Rate: £200.00 Day Rate - Inside IR35

Sharepoint
Onedrive,
Dell laptops, wyse thin terminals (rds desktop), autodesk
Provide remote support to internal users based across England and Wales
General 2nd line desktop and network support
Some first line support from time to time – cover for helpdesk staff absence
Laptop hardware & peripheral diagnostic/support
Laptop operating system
Application support (off the shelf packages and in-house developed applications) – but not application training, only operational support
Portable devices – mobile and ipad running o365 and other MDM managed applications
Remote laptop vpn support - potential internet connection, vpn client, user logon/mfa issues
Support on-site users, internet connection, wyse terminal, rds server based desktop, printing etc
