In this role, reporting to the Practice Manager, you will maintain financial records for a diverse range of clients and oversee the day-to-day workload of the practice team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual and face-to-face client meetings to provide expert financial guidance.
  • Offer complex tax advice and ensure clients are informed of their options.
  • Prepare and complete annual accounts accurately and in compliance.
  • Review and sign off on work completed by the accounting team.
  • Manage HMRC audits and investigations, including preparation and responses.
  • Oversee the completion of self-assessment tax returns and resolve client complaints.
  • Monitor and analyse data related to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals and support professional development.
Your profile:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting practice.
  • Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
