Musical Director Jubilo Choir Scotland

Jubilo, a mixed voice amateur choir of 70+ singers is seeking to appoint a new Musical Director from January 2024. The choir was formed in 1981 with the aim of providing an opportunity for enjoyable and accessible choral singing to a high standard. Based in Edinburgh, we rehearse on Sunday evenings from September to May. The choir's annual programme includes a Christmas Carol concert and a Spring concert, both with orchestral accompaniment, plus other events supporting local charities. Recent larger works include Handel's Israel In Egypt, Mozart's Requiem and Durufle's Requiem. An information pack with details of the MD's expected role and skill set is available on request. Remuneration will be dependent on experience.

Interviews will take place in mid-October and selected candidates will be invited to conduct a short rehearsal in November.
