Audio Visual Commissioning Engineer (3-Month Contract)

About Us:

Our client is a leading audio-visual integrator, known for delivering innovative AV solutions across multiple corporate environments. We are currently seeking an experienced Audio Visual Commissioning Engineer for a 3-month contract to provide servicing and commissioning across various client offices.

Role Overview:

As an Audio Visual Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of AV systems using technologies such as Extron, Crestron, and Q-SYS. Your expertise in corporate services will ensure that our installations and maintenance meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and calibrate audio-visual systems, including Extron, Crestron, and Q-SYS technologies, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Perform regular servicing and maintenance on existing AV systems to ensure peak performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to address client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to meet client specifications and expectations.
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting as required.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of commissioning processes, service records, and client interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Audio Visual Commissioning Engineer, particularly in corporate service environments.
  • Strong knowledge of AV equipment, systems integration, and networking principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel to various client locations as needed.
