Position: Plater Location: Burton on Trent Start date: 28.05.24 Duration: 4 weeks Hours: 10-12hrs/day, Mon-Sun PAYE Pay Rates: Basic: £22.00/hr Inc Hol Pay O/T 1: £27.50/hr O/T 2: £30.00/hr The Role: Our client has a requirement for Plater / Fabricator Fitters for a industrial shutdown in Burton on Trent. Duties will include:

  • Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
  • Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
  • Repairing heat distorted steel plate
  • Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
Requirements:
  • CCNSG card
  • NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
  • Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
