Commercial Gas Engineer

£My client are a Preston based company who specialise in commercial heating, plumbing and electrical maintenance and installation. They have been trading for over fifteen years’ and have established their business by successfully tendering for planned and reactive maintenance contracts.

They are proud to have a settled team of highly skilled gas and electrical engineers who have the highest level of job specific qualifications and have wider training skills appropriate to their working environment, such as Dementia Friends and Mental Health in the Workplace.

They are looking for a Domestic/Commercial Gas Service, Breakdown & Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate must have the desire to up skill and work on commercial systems in the future.

Carry out services on domestic/commercial gas boilers and heating systems.

* To report effectively to Contract Managers with remedial works.

* To ensure adhere to all company policies and practices e.g. Company Vehicle policy/Health & Safety Policy.

* Full time employment

* 28 days holiday (Inc. bank holidays). Company vehicle with fuel card and uniform.

* Insurance and private customers only, no social housing clients.

* Dedicated office based team managing your diary, appointments, ordering of parts, dealing with authorisations and route optimization, leaving you free to focus on repairs.

* Generous overtime available.

* Weekend working on a rota basis. Good company pension scheme.

* On going training including access to courses for professional development.

* Monthly bonus scheme for employee of the month.

Minimum requirements for the role as a Commercial Gas Engineer:

* Required licenses or certifications for the Commercial Gas Engineer position;

* NVQ Level 2 Plumbing

* Clean UK Driving License
