Children's Home manager
£Purosearch are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Children's Home Manager for a small service for children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours within a large established organisation. Job Requirements for the Children's Home Manager Role:
•The registration and development of a new children's service
•To promote the practice of working in partnership with young people and their families
•To ensure the highest standards of care, safety and well being for the children
The suitable candidate for the Children's Home Manager will have:
•A minimum of 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children Working as a Deputy Manager
•Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Or equivalent)
•Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
•Full driving licence is essential
•To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
•Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour
•Flexibility around the rota, covering when needed.
