We are currently working with a growing American Start-Up who are looking for a Senior Paralegal to join their team in their London office.

About you:

As a self-sufficient Senior Corporate Paralegal, you will be a key asset to our Group legal, compliance and corp. admin department, reporting directly to the Joint Head of Legal. Your role will involve managing a range of Group corporate legal, compliance and administrative functions, providing essential support to our operations, and embodying a strong sense of integrity in your work.

Here is what you’ll get to do:

We are a startup, so every day will be different, but you can expect to:

  • Independently conduct comprehensive legal research to inform strategic decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and maintain a variety of documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
  • Take ownership of corporate records, minute books, and essential documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to facilitate corporate transactions and compliance matters.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and business partners.
  • Provide proactive administrative support, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity in all legal and corporate activities.

The ideal candidate has experience & qualifications in:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in conducting independent legal research using online resources, databases, and legal tech tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, particularly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of both legal and corporate principles.
  • Independently managing corporate records, due diligence, and transactional tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a self-sufficient role, taking initiative and managing tasks autonomously.
  • Commitment to upholding high levels of integrity and ethical conduct.
