Job Description

What will you be doing?

As an Electrical Integration Engineer, you will join our Kemble team to support our activities within the Aerospacesector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assess and modify existing aircraft electrical systems to integrate hydrogen fuel cell powertrains.
  • Develop new Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) designs and processes.
  • Work with novel systems such as high voltage electrical systems and hydrogen fuel supplies.
  • Integrate new cockpit systems, including the Human Machine Interface (HMI), for monitoring and controlling the integrated powertrain.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and test engineers, to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure reliability and performance

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, avionics engineering, or related field
  • Solid experience in Electrical engineering in the aviation industry
  • Knowledge of EWIS regulations, standards, and guidelines such as [AMC 20-21], [AMC 20-22], and [AMC 20-23]
  • Experience in Electrical Systems analysis, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in HMI and Cockpitsystems analysis, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting
