Construction Manager / Site Manager - Battery Storage Site (BESS) - Renewable Energy – Scotland, UK – Contract Position Are you an experienced Site Manager with a proven tracker record of managing complex construction projects? As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, with your primary focus being to monitor the EPC contractors on site, on behalf of the owner.
Review and ensure compliance with contractors quality plans, IPPs, and engineering drawings.
Facilitate weekly meetings with contractors to resolve site issues and provide technical guidance.
Record safety observations, ensure proper traffic management, and maintain all documentation in English.
Prepare and manage project punch lists, and participate in punch walkdowns.
Attend weekly contractor toolbox talks and ensure contractors prepare weekly/monthly reports.
Following contractors in regards of preparation of weekly/monthly reports
Report Directly to the Senior Construction Manager
Minimum of 5+ years in Construction Management, with a proven tracker record of managing complex construction projects
Proficiency in quality control and compliance
Strong site monitoring and safety management skills
Project management expertise, particularly in commissioning and handover procedures
Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications
This will be a 12 month contract
~ Accommodation, Subsistence and Travel Expenses are reimbursed
