Senior Statistician

We are looking for an ambitious Senior or Principal Statistician with a passion for leading a Statistics & Programming team to deliver high quality work across an exciting portfolio of projects and therapeutic areas. You will also have the flexibility of working in your closest office Twickenham, Alderley Park Manchester and Swansea.
As a mid-size contract research organisation (CRO) Veramed prides itself on two key areas: providing the highest quality statistics and programming consultancy for its clients, and giving its employees an industry leading working environment with support and training for career growth.
Whilst also working closely with a pharma study team, you will deliver quality products to their specifications, within the dynamic, supportive environment of a passionate CRO with quality and work-life balance at its heart.
As a Lead Statistician you will be responsible for managing a team of Statisticians and Programmers to produce and QC high quality products to client specifications within the agreed timelines and budget. STATISTICS & PROGRAMMING
Author/review the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP).
Identify data and standards issues and resolve or escalate as appropriate.
Perform complex statistical analyses.
High level review of outputs to ensure quality.
Lead the internal Veramed team to deliver on time, to budget, high quality work.
Business process improvements and internal training.
Contributing to initiatives that consider employees, the environment and our local communities as part of our B Corp accreditation.
Taking ownership of a project and bringing forward new ideas and processes for implementation.
Sharing scientific, technical and practical knowledge within the team and with colleagues.
A supportive, open-door management policy that will aid in your development and provide you with the tools to take your career to the next level.
A truly unique CRO that’s doing something different when it comes to managing staff, projects and building relationships in the industry.
MSc or PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics (or equivalent).
Awareness of industry and project standards & ICH guidelines.
