Role: Bookkeeper Start: ASAP Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire Salary: up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm (1 hour’s lunch break) Duration: Permanent Benefits: Hybrid working after training (2 days office and 3 days from home), 21 days holiday + bank holidays, 50% paid cover on private medical insurance, yearly bonus scheme – depending on company performance and team social events. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment building your accountancy knowledge and skills in practice accounts. Who are we? We are Busy Bee Recruitment, an awarding-winning recruitment agency supplying both temporary and permanent staffing solutions throughout the UK to our wonderful client base. Duties will include:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly bookkeeping
- Client management
- Dealing with client's queries
- Working closely with accounts teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Bookkeeping experience
- Strong and effective communication skills both verbally and written
- Xero knowledge preferred but not essential
- Friendly and approachable manner towards the team
