Assisting the Head Grounds Person-with planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all grounds related work and management of daily tasks in their absence
Upholding ground standards -Effective management of all grounds activities to consistently achieve the recognised standards and availability for the Club
Ensuring health and safety -Managing and checking facilities, plant, buildings and equipment to ensure safe workingpractices and compliance to health and safety standards
Equipment management -Management of all maintenance, servicing and storage ofequipment
Pitch maintenance -Assisting in the renovation of hybrid and natural pitches using equipment associated with this process e.g., tractor and trailer work, sand spreading and seeding
Trend Analysis -Gathering and recording information to develop trend data and analyse past usage
Qualified toNVQ level 3 or above in green keeping and groundsmanship or equivalent
Experience in all aspects of grounds maintenance including hybrid, artificial surfaces and a working knowledge of horticulture and gardens
Experience in the management of pitch lighting systems
Competent management and maintenance of irrigation systems
Experience of managing teams of operatives, planning and organising workloads, allocating duties and monitoring performance
Have a good mechanical knowledge of equipment and be able to assist with routine maintenance
Ability to use a wide range of turf care equipment Please note:a FullUK driving licensewill be required for this role as there will be travel todifferent working locations
