We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our existing pastoral team as a Teaching Head of Year. The successful candidate will lead and manage staff and students in raising standards for behaviour, welfare rewards, achievement, punctuality and attendance across the relevant year group, in addition to their teaching commitments within their specialist subject area. The Pastoral Team currently comprises a non-teaching Head of Year, a non-teaching Head of Year responsible for our alternate pathway, a Head of Key Stage 4, Head of Key Stage 5, and an Assistant Principal responsible for pastoral, safeguarding and inclusion. Our Pastoral Team works very closely with our school councillor and teaching staff across all curriculum areas in their roles as classroom practitioners and form tutors to secure the very best support and provision to enable all to achieve their ambitions and aspirations.
