A unique and exciting opportunity has become available for a highly organised, articulate and detail focused Director to oversee the academic and administrative management at Stanford University overseas studies programme in Central Oxford.

Director Responsibilities:

As the Director some of your key duties will include:

  • Academic Programme Management – develop and implement curriculum, hire and evaluate tutors, and provide academic advising
  • Staff and Operations Management – supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance with policies and oversee centre facilities
  • Student Support – advise students, manage student life activities, and ensure their well-being during their time in Oxford
  • Relationship Management – Build and maintain relationships with Oxford faculty, local academic communities and the home campus staff

Director Experience

It is essential that the successful candidate can prove the following;

  • Doctorate/PhD degree as a minimum professional requirement
  • 5-7 years in higher education management
  • Current teaching experience and staff management
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of British culture and academic systems
  • Possess a proactive, flexible, and positive working style

Location

This will be fully office based in Central Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. It is essential that you can be in Oxford full time.
