We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to join a global leader within advanced component manufacturing at their site based in Bredbury, Stockport.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing fabrication staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, PPE use, quality control, and productivity.
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
* 20 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
* Performance related bonus scheme - 5% of annual salary
* Overtime available paid at x1.Pension contribution of 6%
What will you be doing as a Production Manager?
* Assisting in managing fabrication staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, PPE use, quality control, and productivity
* Overseeing safety checks of equipment guards and emergency stops, promptly reporting defects and ensuring regular data input
* Supervising fabricators, conducting meetings, reviews, and managing timesheets and holiday requests
* Supporting ongoing training of fabrication staff, documenting additional training and re-training, and updating training records
* Conducting quality and dimensional checks on manufactured goods before they leave the workshop
* Assisting in managing the administration of the fabrication instruction system and weekly planning of jobs, including accurate material take-offs for projects
* Aiding in planning and organising fabrication projects
* Providing site supervision and assisting with installation works as needed
