Temporary Finance Director

We are delighted to have been given the task ofsecuringthe appointment of an ambitious Finance Director for this equally ambitious SME business. Working as a critical member of the Board, the Finance Director will be instrumental in creating a five year plan for growth.
With responsibility for various functions in the business and two direct reports, the Finance Director will be part of the strategic direction of the company and setting the tone of the culture of this value led business.
Drive the financial planning of the organisation by analysing its performance and risks.
Retain constant awareness of the organisation's financial position and act to prevent problems.
Set up and oversee the organisation's finance IT system.
Ensure a culture of continuous improvement, identifying ways to drive efficiency through redesign and development of financial processes.
Management of the balance sheet, including reporting against budget/forecast, and completion of relevant control procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations.
