Job Description Senior Project Manager - Yorkshire
£70k - £80k base + Bonus + Pension + Health + Package

They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team and lead the successful execution of their hydrogen technology manufacturing projects.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of project planning, implementation, and delivery, ensuring the highest quality standards and adherence to project timelines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient project execution.
Responsibilities:
Be customer focused in leading the end-to-end project management lifecycle for hydrogen technology manufacturing projects, from initiation to completion (installation/commissioning)
Develop and execute project plans, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Manage project budgets, resources, and risks effectively, ensuring cost control and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality and operations, to drive project success.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels, providing regular reports and presentations.
Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified engineer (mechanical and/or electrical)
Proven experience as a Project Manager in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a focus on technology-driven projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools from manufacturing/engineering, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
Proactive mindset with a results-oriented approach and a passion for driving innovation in the clean energy sector.
Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are highly desirable.
