About the company

We’re currently working with a high growth company in the digital asset market, renowned for sophisticated algorithmic trading solutions and liquidity provision. Backed by esteemed investors they are rapidly expanding their global footprint.

About the role

This role is on a permanent basis and reports into the General Counsel and will work closely with the C-Suite.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide guidance and support on regulatory matters, ensuring adherence to global standards and regulations such as FCA, CTFC etc.
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements such as OTC agreements, lending contracts and market making agreements.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to resolve commercial disputes efficiently safeguarding the company’s interests.
  • Assist in managing corporate structures and governance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance at all levels.
  • Provide legal support to internal business functions as and when required.

Who are you?

  • Qualified solicitor, trained at a reputable firm, with 3-7 years of legal experience preferably in capital markets, fintech or digital assets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial law within financial services, including structured products, ISDA agreements, OTC transactions and trading agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks in key jurisdictions including the EU and the USA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this role involves coordinating and advising teams across the organization.
