Head of Horticultural Operations On-site; We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic leader for the role of Head of Horticultural on behalf of our client, a leading commercial greenhouse operation based in West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take ownership of a critical role within our clients senior leadership team, with a key focus on innovation, sustainability, and the effective management of glasshouse operations.

Team Leadership, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient, high-quality crop production.
Maximise system efficiencies to enhance quality while controlling costs.
Develop and implement CAPEX projects .
Foster a culture of continuous improvement , driving new product development and operational advancements.
10 + years of horticultural expertise, with 5 + years in glasshouse crops.
~ Leadership experience, managing cross functional greenhouse teams.
~ Proven experience of reducing operational costs without compromising quality.
~ Experience in modern horticultural techniques and leading change initiatives.
~ Proficiency in capital project planning and sustainable growing methods.
~ Strong communication and relationship-building skills for effective collaboration.
