The Business is looking for a technical thinking, ambitious and highly motivated individual to join the finance team and support the Head of Finance to drive the business forward.
Knowledge of tax accounting under FRS102 and IFRS; Corporate Tax Compliance, Reporting and Advisory
Management of accurate and timely tax disclosures for statutory accounts of group companies, including RDEC provisioning
Maintaining all Senior Accounting Officer documentation
Manage external advisors to ensure tax compliance in the UK and internationally
Identify and assist in the implementation of risk minimisation strategies
Disseminating implications of UK tax changes on the wider business
Support the business with tax-related advice, including Customs and Duty
To be considered for this role you will be ACA or CTA qualified or equivalent with experience within in an in-house Tax role
Experience of using large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP would also be an advantage.
Prior experience of tax accounting and tax auditing, with a clear desire to further specialise in this area.
Good project management skills, including meeting agreed deadlines, taking ownership and working with a wide variety of stakeholders.
