Our prestigeous Manufacturing Client based in Leek, are looking for a Canner FLT to assist on a temporary assignment for 3 months due to an uplift in business. Job description:
- Working in a fast-paced, physical role
- Filling vessels and cans
- Labelling
- Use of FLT counterbalance
- Strong English and Numeracy skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Filling drums with finished products and preparing them for despatch by correctly labelling and banding to the pallet.
- Moving drums/pallets/IBC’s etc. around site using Fork Lift Trucks
- Carry out basic FLT checks to ensure suitable for operational use
- Maintain yard/warehouse housekeeping standards
- Report any health, safety or environmental incident or Near Miss
- Update records/computer system where necessary
