Job Description

I am currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Architecture and Engineering to join my client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and engineering, with expertise in Kotlin, MongoDB, and React. Additionally, candidates with a full-stack engineering background are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the architecture and engineering team, providing strategic direction and technical leadership.
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software architectures that meet the company's needs and objectives.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development processes and practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's technical roadmap.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of software systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within architecture and engineering, with a strong track record of success.
  • Expertise in Kotlin programming for backend development.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB for database management.
  • Strong proficiency in React for front-end development.
  • Full-stack engineering background is , with experience in both backend and frontend technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and deliver results.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
