Caterers Choice is a family-owned business that has operated for over 30 years. They are experts in importing canned and ambient foods, supplying to their food service, wholesale, manufacturing and retail customers, based throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, with their own, customer and supplier-branded goods. The business has strategic, long-standing relationships with global suppliers on multiple continents. - Preparing monthly management accounts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Foreign currency management
- Invoice discounting submissions
- Processing rebates
- Stock reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Management of the Assistant Accountant
- Cover for P/L and S/L if required
- Other ad hoc duties as required
- The successful candidate will be qualified or studying towards a professional qualification, CIMA or ACCA
- Staff management experience is required
- Must be able to work on your initiative and not be afraid to make suggestions/improvements
- Good IT skills are essential including Excel
- Prior use of Sage is desirable
