This role helps make sure our clean andwastewater assets are operated and maintained effectively across ourvarious sites and that our customers are kept well-informed throughoutplanned and reactive works. Youll be responsible for ensuring that allactivity is undertaken in line with contractual agreements andinternal procedures.

This is a customer facing role basedin/around the Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset areas and will includeparticipation in an out-of-hours rota on a 1-in-4 basis.nWhat Youll BeDoing:

Operating and maintaining both clean and wastewaterassets and networksnEnsuring we hold sufficient supplies of wholesomepotable water supplies and water resourcenProviding a mobile reactivemaintenance and repair function within your operational areanRecordingaccurate information and feedback in real-time using portable ITequipmentnCommunicating regularly with colleagues and customers onsiteto ensure swift and satisfactory resolutions and to record completedworksnTravelling to different sites on a regular basis and readingmetersnTaking part in a regional on-call rota to provide out of hoursresponse and support to customersnWhat You'llBring:

Maintenance experience, ideally within a similarrolenWillingness to undertake training and development to support youin your rolenIntermediate IT skills and experience of using differentIT software packages and devicesnConfident written and verbalcommunication skills to enable you to work with customers andcolleaguesnAbility to manage and maximise your time effectively andidentify time-saving opportunitiesnComfortable to work with chemicalsand gases once trained to do sonThe ability to build and developstrong relationships at all levels with both internal and externalcontacts and customersnComfortable working in both confined spaces andoutdoors in all weather conditions

About you:nDue to thenature of sites on which we operate, the successful candidatemust:

Meet the security clearance requirements for the rolewhich includes, but is not limited to, the successful candidate beinga full-time resident of the UK for the past 5 years.nAbility to obtainSecurity Clearance which involves a Criminal Record Check and a fullMoD Security Application and associated verification processes.nYoumust have a full, valid driving licence and be comfortable driving avan.
