A leading contractor on multiple UK water authorities' frameworks across the UK is seeking to bolster and strengthen their Planning team with a Planner for the Anglian Water framework.
You'll take ownership of the project plan, drive the project team to deliver to the plan and challenge any delay and deviation. Leading, coaching and guiding a small team of more junior Planners, you'll be viewed as an approachable Planning expert who is keen to pass on experience and knowledge to develop others and drive outperformance amongst the team.

To be considered for this role, you'll have demonstrable experience of working on relevant projects within the Civil engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry. With experience of leading collaborative planning processes, you'll have the ability to interrogate / take information from drawings to implement efficient planning service to the business.
Able to adapt as required to meet project objectives, you'll be innovative and supportive to other member of the teams to enhance the reputation of the Planning team amongst the business.

Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance with requirements ensuring methodology is consistently followed
·Ensure project plans capture the full project scope and resources are considered and loaded as required
·Pro-actively identify opportunities and risks in the plan and monitor the critical path and key milestones, advising the delivery team on any potential changes
·Develop 4D animations of the project plan to aid digital rehearsal of the project construction.
·Ensure planning standards are maintained and published processes are adhered to.
·Appreciate and uphold the Health & Safety standards in all planning processes.
