NDT Technician
Our client is looking for an experienced NDT Technician who knows their trade well to join their team and provide exceptional services to their customers nationally.
As an NDT Technician, you will conduct training courses in various NDT techniques and perform NDT production testing at the request of the Manager.
Conduct training courses for students and assist in the preparation of NDT documentation as required. Conduct audits of NDT facilities if needed.
* Assist in implementing quality systems within the NDT team to ensure best practices and continuous improvement of those practices.
* Have a good understanding and working knowledge of Group Standards/British Standards/European Standards applicable to NDT.
* Identify and recommend opportunities for business growth to the NDT Production & Training Manager and implement opportunities for the development of training courses to meet customer's needs.
* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of our safety culture to ensure the health and safety of employees, customers and teams within the rail service delivery activities.
* Implement company procedures and policies.
* Assist in ensuring facilities, plant and equipment are inspected and maintained. UK Driving Licence.
* PCN ultrasonic qualifications relating to axle testing or rail testing ( H1 ).
* Be capable of working alone on-site at railway facilities or as part of a team.
