An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Applications to join our customer on an interim basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, and managing on all activities related to support, design, development, automation and implementation of systems, software and applications.

Apply a blend of structured project management and flexible best practices for providing excellent technology services that meets users’ needs, including experience in Waterfall, Agile, the ITIL framework and working collaboratively with our teams from across the department.


Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive application architecture blueprint, including all relevant MI and a roadmap for integration, consolidation and risk mitigation.
Orchestrate integration projects and corresponding strategies between business and Dev teams.
Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new apps into existing systems/software
Develop standards/processes to support and facilitate software/integration projects and initiatives.
Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications.
Ensure that any new IT software integration meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, and system owners in the acquisition, deployment and testing of new software programs and applications.
Implement corporate applications projects, as directed by the Director of Corporate Technology.
Evaluate results of integration projects, then report and make recommendations based on findings.
Manage network and software engineers to assist with QA, program logic, and data processing.
Compile and maintain inventory of company software and systems assets and their corresponding contracts/agreements.
Develop and communicate training for end users, hold clinics, and other user-related activities.
Lead on for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions, to ensure our infrastructure is fit for purpose and vendor security patches are deployed.
Implement procedures that allow relevant statistics to be collected for KPI monitoring.
