☁️ As a Professional Service Network Consultant at Ekco IT Services within the Professional Services division, you will be a key player in delivering expert technical architecture guidance across all facets of IT networking. Your in-depth knowledge of networking brands such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Dell will be crucial in crafting and implementing robust solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
As a Network Consultant at Ekco you will:
Engage proactively with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and networking requirements.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and propose tailored networking solutions.
Clearly outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and associated costs for client approval.
Work closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and Ekco's capabilities.
Provide technical expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing IT networking solutions.
Leverage in-depth knowledge of networking brands such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Dell to create robust and scalable architectures.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of networking solutions with existing infrastructure.
Play a hands-on role in the implementation of networking solutions, ensuring alignment with approved statements of work.
Work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during implementation.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate the success of the proposed solutions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for clients and internal teams, ensuring a smooth transition and effective ongoing support.
Proven experience (5 years) in a similar role within the IT services industry.
In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and best practices.
Expertise in networking brands, including Cisco, Fortinet, and Dell.
CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE) are highly desirable.
Strong team player with a can-do attitude to inspire excellent customer service.
Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Principles.
Working Knowledge of Fresh service ITSM toolsets
