MRI Specialist Radiographer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior MRI Radiographer to join our new team in Oxford (Perspectum) to support the running of our MRI Service on a full-time fixed site contract.

As a Senior Radiographer you will work in close partnership with the Clinical Lead and Perspectum to ensure we are aligned in every aspect of the service. Perspectum is active in developing quantitative imaging techniques using machine learning and there will be a great opportunity to get involved with research projects and commercial trial work.

Working 36 hours per week Monday - Sunday

The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations and this would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience to further develop their career.

The successful candidate will have a flexible and patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. The ideal candidate should have some (1 - 2 years) MRI experience with the ability and organisational skills to work with the team. The candidate should be accustomed to performing different type of MRI scans (including contrast and non-contrast) on a routine basis.

IV Cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided where required)

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report into the Unit Manager for the service but also have support from a Clinical lead.
