This business is a world-leader in events, running some of the largest venues globally. They are seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer to join their Information Security team.

Salary: Up to £90,000

Please do not apply if you require sponsorship to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:

- Implementing and maintaining secure software development practices.

- Leading security discussions with development, operations, and security teams.

- Collaborating with development teams to address security vulnerabilities and implement secure coding practices.

- Defining security requirements, standards, and guidelines for projects.

- Enhancing and monitoring development and operations tools.

- Leading the implementation and maintenance of a security program.

- Collaborating on audits, incident response, and compliance processes.

Required Skills:

- Experience in SonarCloud or SonarQube.

- Customer service orientation and the ability to meet customer expectations.

- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.

- Knowledge of frameworks in the Software Development Lifecycle such as OWASP top 10, NIST, etc.

- Experience configuring infrastructure and application alerts, alarms, and notifications.

Desired Skills:

- Proven experience in roles like DevSecOps Engineer or Security Engineer.

- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and secure coding principles.

- Strong analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.

- Familiarity with Git version control and industry security standards such as OWASP top 10, NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS benchmarks.

Additional Information:

- This position can be 100% remote, with the possibility of occasional in-office work.

- For candidates located quite far from London, they may require a week of on-site presence at the beginning. However, if you're based closer to London, you're welcome to join them in the office as desired.
