Today, we're searching for a Head of Project Management to be a part of our dynamic team.
The Role: A true leader in Project excellence
As the Head of Project Management, you'll take the lead in overseeing our digital project management teams, including Project Management, Web Design, and Front End Development (FED). You will lead the teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, aligned with our strategic goals, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the project management function. Here's how you'll make it happen:
Strategic Planning
Create and align your team strategy with the department's overarching objectives, ensuring a clear path forward. Dive deep into risk assessments, identifying potential hurdles, and crafting comprehensive mitigation plans. Stay ahead of industry trends, exploring emerging technologies and project management innovations to enhance performance and streamline processes. Craft long-term project management plans that consider the future tech landscape, ensuring adaptability and competitiveness.Team Leadership and Unity
Lead the project management teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Promote open communication and collaboration within your teams and across the wider business. Coach and mentor your team, conducting regular one-on-one sessions and enabling employee development. Efficiently manage team workload, ensuring alignment with key objectives.Resource Optimisation and Efficiency
Allocate resources wisely, optimising personnel, financial, and other resources for maximum project impact. Ensure workloads are well-distributed and team capabilities are utilised effectively. Continuously enhance project management methodologies, processes, and tools to improve efficiency. Monitor departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project performance and drive improvements.Project Oversight and Excellence: Quality Assurance
Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality project outputs that exceed client expectations.Financials: Budget Management
Keep a close eye on project budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective resource utilisation while adhering to financial constraints.Navigate by Feedback: Collect Insights
Gather feedback from team members and clients, utilising these insights to enhance the planning process and improve future initiatives.Compliance and Regulations: Ensure Adherence
Ensure project management strategies are in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, with a focus on legal and ethical considerations.Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or relevant project management certifications are highly desirable Proven experience in successful digital project management, effectively delivering complex technical projects within established budgets and timelines. Deep knowledge of industry best practices and the latest project management trends Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Keen attention to detail and an unwavering focus on continuous improvement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management software and tools Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and effectively manage competing priorities.Benefits
