My client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join on them on a contract position. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for? supporting multiple teams of other product design engineers, test design engineers, production, and service centre staff to resolve issues with product design, modification, upgrades, customer investigations, supplier investigations, obsolescence, and test system design changes.

Manufacturing Engineer
Pay: £30-£35 per hour PAYE
Contract: Initial 6 months (possible extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.Engage in and drive materials savings projects to reduce manufacturing and repair costs.
* Provide shop floor engineering guidance to reduce scrap and past due coming up with improved work scopes and processes.
* Remove waste from the repair process.
* Provide estimates and statements of work for various engineering efforts and projects.
* 3 years+ experience in Manufacturing Engineering related support or suitable discipline.

Fluency in English language (written & verbal) is essential

A drug screening is required on all successful candidates prior to starting the contract
Education & Training

HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Mechanical and Production Engineering, or recognised time served apprenticeship.
