Onboarding SME

Banking - Cardiff

Permanent, full-time position – Onsite while training, 2 days a week in the office after - £35,000 to start with and £37,000 after training.

We are looking for multiple full-time Onboarding SMEs to help support the growth of our next-generation, digital bank client. There will be a 6-week training program provided.

Key responsibilities as an Onboarding SME will include:

  • Review high-risk applications using the bank’s risk appetite, ensuring timely service while prioritizing safety
  • Supporting and coaching teams and leaders with engaging activities, providing clear feedback to foster growth within the department
  • Be a proactive problem solver who challenges the status quo and owns process improvements, guidance changes, and projects to enhance the customer journey

For the position of Onboarding SME, we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in KYC / KYB within an onboarding environment
  • Experienced in CDD / EDD / AML
  • Demonstrable experience running training sessions across all levels of a business
  • Worked within a UK bank / financial services
