Venture Search is working with a global multi-billion dollar proprietary trading firm seeking talented and experienced quantitative traders and researchers, to join their high-frequency equities division.

With the exciting opportunity to use one of the fastest and most comprehensive in-house trading systems on the planet, you will create and implement new trading strategies through new alpha signals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conceiving, constructing, and distributing trading algorithms
  • Investigating trading concepts by examining market data, market microstructure, and alternative data for patterns.
  • Developing techniques to analyse data for patterns
  • Providing input to the development of analytical computation libraries that facilitate market data analysis and trading strategies.
  • Creating, enhancing, and fine-tuning exchange simulators.

Requirements

  • Hold an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or engineering.
  • Familiarity with signal generation and recognition
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques.
  • Coding skills required in Python and C++.
  • More than 3+ year’s experience.
  • Track record in delivering successful systematic strategies.
  • English Fluency
