London, United Kingdom antler.co Full time

About Antler

Antler is the investor backing the world’s most driven founders from day zero to greatness. Founded on the belief that people innovating is the key to building a better future, we partner with people across six continents to launch and scale high-potential startups that address meaningful opportunities and challenges. Knowing that exceptional founders can come from anywhere with any background, we have offices in 26 cities, including Austin, New York, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Bangalore, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, and Sydney. Our global community backs people from the beginning with co-founder matching, deep business model validation, initial capital, expansion support, and follow-on funding. Fueled by a personal passion beyond traditional investing, we have helped create and invest in over 1,000 startups across a wide range of industries and technologies to back over 6,000 by 2030.

About the Role

Successful candidates will apply themselves across the investment process during their nine-month contract to support the Antler team, our cohorts, and portfolio companies. Your first week will introduce you to the Antler team, how a venture capital firm like Antler operates and invests, and our portfolio companies.

Analysts will find this a fantastic launchpad to join Antler full-time, transition into investor or entrepreneurship roles elsewhere, or become operators in exciting startups and scale-ups. Previous Analysts have gone on to Chief of Staff and Operator roles at leading scale-ups, including Antler portfolio companies, investor roles at InMotion Ventures, consultancy roles at McKinsey, and founders of their startups.

We seek an exceptional individual to join Antler’s Investments team in the UK. You will support varied processes, including scouting, cohort, portfolio, and capital, and build processes and systems geared towards operational efficiency. Antler has ambitions to invest in hundreds of regional companies over the next few years.

  • Scouting (e.g., discovering exceptional entrepreneurs, working closely with entrepreneurial communities and networks, and managing the pipeline from scouting to onboarding)
  • Company-Building (e.g., take individuals from entrepreneurs to co-founders in our residencies; support operational excellence during the residency, help match founders, and support due diligence.)
  • Portfolio (e.g. assisting founders with fundraising by facilitating introductions and coordinating with investors.)
  • Capital (e.g. Assisting with updating limited partner (LP) materials and handling related requests.)
  • Community (e.g. Assisting the Antler team's growth initiatives in the UK through brand building, networking, entrepreneur and investor engagement, event organisation, local/global investment and portfolio management best practices.)

Experience

You are a top-performing recent graduate or an early career professional with exceptional, unexpected insights. Even better, you have founding or operational experience at a fast-growing startup. You are driven to bring Antler to the next level with full-time availability in London.

  • Passionate about entrepreneurship: Founders First is our guiding principle, fueling our mission to empower extraordinary founders. You thrive on innovation and technology and guide individuals to build remarkable companies.
  • Uncomfortably Ambitious: We breathe ambition, setting and relentlessly pursuing audacious goals. If big dreams and even bigger determination fuel you, you're one of us.
  • Always asking why: Break the mould, challenge convention. You're wired to explore beyond boundaries, constantly seeking new perspectives and pushing the limits of what's possible.
  • An exceptional communicator: Your communication prowess shines in a whirlwind of global collaboration. Across 20+ offices, you’ll connect and catalyse action with your confidence and genuine interest in others.
  • 100% Ownership: You own it all—your goals and our mission. Taking charge isn't just second nature; it's instinctual. When obstacles arise, you're not just pointing fingers; you're rolling up your sleeves, ready to fix what's broken and drive progress forward.
  • A problem solver who likes to roll up their sleeves: You're the epitome of hands-on problem-solving, whether launching ventures or spearheading impactful initiatives. Your knack for rapid learning and tireless drive make you the go-to catalyst for turning ideas into reality.

What we offer

  • Create a legacy and have a significant impact: be part of building hundreds of disruptive companies across the UK that will define the next wave of tech.
  • Be part of a highly qualified and hardworking team and a global firm that is growing rapidly.
  • Opportunity to work in Venture Capital and build a track record in investment and early-stage company formation

  • A competitive, entry-level base salary of £29,000 per annum

Selection Process
