The Head Golf Professional's key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and ensuring that all quality standards for Greenbriar's golf operations are maintained, through the supervision and direction of the Greenbriar Oceanaire staff, providing excellent customer service and delivering an exceptional golf experience. The candidate will be responsible for driving performance to attain established goals in collaboration with the General Manager and Owner. The Head Golf Professional will also be responsible for creating a positive working environment that is conducive to attracting and retaining a high-quality, motivated, and diverse workforce.
Compensation: $54,000 + additional compensation opportunities. Hires, trains, and schedules staff, as well as evaluates employee performance.
•Responsible for managing the proshop, maintaining inventory of supplies, and equipment and ordering new merchandise. Creates marketing plans and promotions to increase revenue and grow the customer base.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Prepares annual budget and financial reports.
• Build relationships with members, guests, and the community.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Microsoft applications, EZ Links, EZ Suite and Golf Genius
• Practice range, golf academy, tournament operations and tour wholesale sales experience is beneficial.
