Principal Engineer – Mechanical Handling

Drawing on more than 55 years’ experience in highly regulated sectors subject to strict security and safety requirements, we provide our customers with engineering and project management services, as well as digital services and solutions to optimize the performance of complex infrastructure projects throughout their life cycle. The Group is currently ranked second in the world for nuclear engineering.
Set project-related objectives.
Meet agreed standards, schedule, and budget as specified by the Project Manager.
Plan for Effective Project Implementation:
Identify key factors for project success.
Lead the project’s technical planning process.
Quality Management and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to effective Quality Management Arrangements.
Maintain proper records with configuration and quality controls applied.
~️ Ensure staff and contractors are aware of the hazards and risks associated with their work.
~ Manage and communicate risk assessments effectively.
Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council.
Nuclear course or equivalent knowledge.
Knowledge of nuclear lifting techniques and processes.
Design conventional mechanical handling equipment for graving dock facilities.
Seismic analysis of mechanical handling systems.
High-integrity mechanical handling systems substantiation.
Engineering design and safety practices.
Project specification, planning, and management.
Knowledge of Design, Health & Safety, and Quality procedures.
Proficiency in engineering software applications.
Experience with submarine and facility design support.
