The Role of Senior Project Manager
This pivotal position entails leading a portfolio of sophisticated and high-value refurbishment projects within the commercial sector across West and Central London. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding every phase of the project lifecycle, from the drawing board to successful completion. Your role encompasses comprehensive project oversight, including strategic planning, steering the project team, budget oversight, and maintaining strong client relations, all while upholding the highest standards of quality and service.
The chosen Senior Project Manager will enter the organisation at an opportune moment, poised to take charge of several intricate, high-end refurbishment projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead project development from inception through to completion.
- Articulate project objectives, scope, and outcomes in collaboration with top management and stakeholders.
- Craft and present detailed progress reports, proposals, documentation, and briefings.
- Navigate project scope changes adeptly, anticipate potential setbacks, and formulate effective contingency strategies.
- Empower, mentor, and inspire project teams and subcontractors, promoting a culture of teamwork and high performance.
The Project Manager:
- Demonstrated Project Management prowess within a Main Contractor environment, with a focus on high-end refurbishments.
- Background in managing Fit Out projects is highly regarded.
- Relevant construction-related qualifications.
- Exceptional communication abilities and a strong client-service orientation.
