The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative lessons to students of varying ages and abilities. They will create class syllabi, lesson plans, and supplemental materials that teach the fundamentals of computer hardware, software, and programming languages. The teacher will also be responsible for observing student behaviour in the classroom, assigning grades to assignments, and tracking and communicating students' advancement throughout the course. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline, as well as prior experience as a computer teacher. Passion for fostering computer literacy and academic excellence is a must.
Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students' acquisition of basic and advanced computer skills.
Invigilating and grading projects, quizzes, and examinations.
Tracking and communicating students' advancement throughout the course.
Ensuring that the computer laboratory remains free from food and drink at all times.
Downloading important software updates and maintaining hardware.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
Teaching certification for the level at which you will be instructing.
Prior experience as a computer teacher.
Passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence.
