A fast-growing technology company dedicated to unlocking the full potential of batteries with intelligent software for all vehicle and battery manufacturers worldwide is currently looking to hire a HiL Test Architect. The successful candidate will help visualise the company’s future HiL Testing and Validation strategy.

The HiL Test Architect will:

  • Support the future vision of HiL Rig set up and development to deliver the next generation of software validation.
  • Manage and maintain development vehicles and HiL rigs used for BMS testing.
  • Execute HiL tests to validate BMS functionality and performance under various conditions.
  • Support cell data analysis to understand capacity, efficiency, thermal characteristics, and degradation mechanisms.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough testing of BMS and related systems.
  • Perform cell characterization tests to determine the performance and behaviour of battery cells.

The HiL Test Architect will have:

  • Strong knowledge of battery systems, BMS, and HiL testing methodologies.
  • Experience setting up test automations in model based testing labs.
  • Experience of using Speedgoat/dSPACE hardware and toolchain.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in designing and implementing HIL test applications.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, writing test scripts, and generating test reports.
  • Experience of using Matlab Simulink toolchain.
