Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain procurement processes, systems, and policies to ensure best practices and compliance across the organization.
  • Lead and manage a global team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
  • Design and deliver procurement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the global procurement team.
  • Monitor and evaluate procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure effective risk management and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement excellence role, with extensive knowledge of procurement processes, principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role, ideally with some experience in a direct management position
  • Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills with previous experience working alongside C-level. Professional fluency in English essential, other European languages beneficial but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
