Yellow Social Interactive is a dynamic and innovative force in the social gaming industry, leading the way with creative and engaging experiences for our users. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a seasoned Senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This role is crucial in driving strategic financial planning and decision-making processes to support the company's growth.

As a Senior FP&A Analyst at YSI, you will take on a leadership role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strategic mindset and the ability to provide valuable insights to executive leadership.


Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and senior management to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Reviewing the weekly, monthly and budget submissions performing critical analysis and discussing directly with the country finance teams resolving issues as they arise. Summarise and present findings to FP&A Manager

2. Performance Analysis

  • Conduct thorough variance analysis, highlighting key drivers and trends to support decision-making.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and assess business performance.
  • Become an expert in Looker & Tableau BI tools and Excel modelling to develop insightful analysis.

3. Decision Support

  • Provide strategic financial guidance for major initiatives, investments, and business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and evaluate the financial impact of various business scenarios.
  • Using available data to identify issues which could have a significant impact on business performance.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of comprehensive and insightful financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements

5. Team Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior members of the FP&A team, fostering professional development.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and efficiency.

6. Ad-Hoc Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth ad hoc financial analysis to address specific business challenges and opportunities.
  • Take a proactive role in special projects and initiatives to optimize financial operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or professional certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
  • Proven experience in leading financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis tools and techniques, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience in the gaming, social media or technology sector is a distinct advantage.
